It was a wonderful experience in 2017 summer vocation. Discovery English Camp 2017 was

started in Changsha with expectations of students and staff.

Here is our camp site.

Before the openning ceremony, our staff members and teachers decorated the camp and

classrooms, waiting our students’ arrival.

Look! Carrying the bags, excited and elated, the students reached the camp.

Openning ceremony

It was the formal meeting among campers, foreign teachers, assistants, and life-guiding teachers.

Different kinds of courses and activities enriched the 10-day summer camp, which

included situational English lessons, outdoor activeites, interest workshop, touring day and so on.

Students learn various aspects of knowledge in English thorugh games, painting, dancing and interactions.

Outdoor activities

It could cultivate students’ teamwork spirit and cooperation skill by some racing games.

Interest workshop

Rope vase DIY, Eco-Fashion Show, students gave free rein to their imagination and created

the unique handicrafts.

It may be the first time for some students to learn baking. It was a new experience to knead the dough, to shape and to brush with egg. Many students would like to take the cookie back home for their parents. So adorable!

Another workshop welcomed by the sutdents was to work clay. It required students to be patient and

persistent and developed students’ abilities of observation, perception and improved their pracrtical

ability.

Touring day

Going out of the classroom motivated students to use Englsih in the daily life. Exploration in the Sea

world and science museum hepled to broaden students’ horizons.

The students were so elated. They were totally glued to the novel things.

After 10-day summer camp, the campers enjoyed the atmosphere of native English lessons,

had fun in the outdoor activities and made new friends.they learned to be considerate, be

grateful, and cooperate with partners.
